Over 140 Signs Installed
The campaign to spread the use of reflective 911 signs has been running for over a year now and we have sold over 140 signs. That is about 14% of the houses in Browntown and Bentonville. Our short term goal is to hit at least 25% and your purchase of a sign will help.
The signs are provided by the BEARR Group, part of the Browntown Community Center Association, and the price of $25 (plus a small additional cost if installation is needed) includes a small contribution to the Community Association.
When you need an ambulance or a fire truck you want it to get there as soon as possible and one of the issues that first-responders face is not being able to find the correct house quickly.
You might think that your numbers are adequate, but can they be seen clearly, at night, from both directions of the road? Most of them cannot.
It takes time to turn around a 35-foot fire engine and every minute wasted means more of your home burnt, or vital time lost getting medical attention—when even seconds count.
For your own sake, and that of your family, please consider buying a sign.
