A Celebration of Spring!
The annual Browntown VA Redbud Festival will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Browntown Community Center (the old schoolhouse), 96 Browntown Road, Browntown, VA 22610.
There is something for everyone, from the Antique Car Show to dueling Renaissance Medieval Knights.
The appearance of the knights is sponsored by Manor Line Back 40 Coffee House (and one of our BEARR Group members is one of the fighting knights).
The festival also features the ever-popular Duck Race (at 1:00 PM) when plastic ducks compete in a race down Gooney Creek.
The BEARR Group will be offering 911 reflective address signs for sale at $25 each (includes a small donation to the Browntown Community Center Association (BCCA).
In the local area, installation on an existing post is free, or a new post can be provided at a small additional cost.
Food will be available and various performers will offer live music throughout the day.
